Nurses Hold Vigil on Staffing Shortages in Three Northeast PA Hospitals

SCRANTON — Nurses from several area hospitals came together to hold a vigil Wednesday night.

The reason for the vigil is to shine a light on staffing shortages.

Registered Nurses from Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Moses Taylor, and others attended.

The nurses are all operating under expired union contracts with nurse recruitment, retention, and staffing the key concerns in contract negotiations.
